During our outdoor learning session, we explored the outdoor area and foraged for natural resources such as sticks, stones, leaves and bark. Using these materials, we created our own people and animals, carefully choosing items to represent different features and textures. The activity encouraged creativity, teamwork and problem-solving, as we shared our ideas and adapted our designs using what we could find in nature.

Year 3 trip to Avoncroft Musuem 20th Nov 2025

Year 3 had an exciting trip to Avoncroft Museum. We tried making bricks, making walls by weaving sticks and using clay as daub, and discovered how houses and their building materials have changed over time. We even went up a windmill to see how it works! The children were respectful, engaged, and had a wonderful day full of fun and learning!

In October, the children in Year 1 went to Pizza Express in Cheltenham where Agnes the Pizza Chef taught them how to make Pizzas. We then ate them for our picnic lunch at school. It was great fun.
