Pupil Leaders

At Badsey First School, we encourage leaders at every level, and this includes the pupil at our school. We have different roles and responsibilities on offer for children to apply for. These include: librarians, school council, house captains, vice house captains and eco council. 

Librarians

Librarian's job purpose is to help organise and run the library that promotes a love of reading to all children. Their duties include: help in the library at set times, help with library displays, file books back in their correct places, help other pupils find what they are looking for and recommend books. Our librarians are reliable, hardworking, honest, cheerful, sensible, enthusiastic and helpful. They will also be working at the book fair, when we have it at school for World Book Day.

School Council

School Council's job purpose is to help make the school a better place. This is where we listen to child voice, on how we can improve things for the pupils at Badsey First School. School Council are voted in by their classmates in Years 1-5. They have meetings every three weeks to discuss matters that have come up, or they will look after the school, by going litter picking or water the flowers. School Council are hardworking, responsible, respectful, helpful and enthusiastic. 

Eco Council

Eco Council's job purpose is to remind everyone in school to save energy and reduce, recycle and reuse. Their duties include: remind people not to waste resources, to look after our school grounds, to help repair resources and to help other pupils understand environmental issues. Eco Councillors are caring, thoughtful, reliable, hardworking, sensible and helpful.
